The next three episodes feature startups who just graduated from RAP—the RIoT Accelerator Program. RAP is 12 intensive, high-touch weeks, and these startups share what it was really like participating in a startup accelerator at RIoT Labs. This episode features Green Stream Technologies and Safe Zone. Join us behind the scenes of the RIoT Accelerator Program!

Green Stream Technologies is an environmental technologies firm. They help build safer more resilient communities through the power of smart technology, and their first product is an autonomous flood sensor network that lets people know when and where the roads are flooded, tell them how deep those water levels are, and lets them know when it’s getting better.

SafeZone has a fully automated Gunfire Detection System that features a cloud-based machine learning Detector, which can notify you within seconds of the room in which a gunshot occurred.

The RIOT ACCELERATOR PROGRAM (RAP) is accepting applications through June 30th, 2019 at 5pm EST. RIoT invites early stage startups in the Internet of Things space to apply NOW to participate in the 12-week high-touch RIoT Accelerator Program. RAP increases the impact of traditional accelerator programming by connecting you with an industry consortium of more than 75 companies across the IoT technology stack. The Fall 2019 cohort starts September 9th, and there is no cost to startups, no equity taken, and there are scholarships available. RAP provides access to prototyping lab and 6 months free office space, plus free tech resources from Arrow Electronics, Ubidots, Particle, Microsoft, and more. Leverage RIoT’s network to learn, collaborate, and bring your product to market. Connect with Program Director Rachael Meleney at rachael@ncriot.org for questions.
