I have over two decades of experience in the Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC) industry.  I build and maintain long-term customer relationships by acting as an extension of their engineering department from design to concept through the regulatory approval process to gain access to global markets on time and on budget.  Companies that know us around the world trust Nemko to assess their products, systems, installations, and personnel for conformity with relevant standards and regulations.  Our overall company culture is what makes us successful and stands us apart from our competition.

 

What does your company do?

Nemko is a Global regulatory compliance agency that was established over 80 years ago.  We are highly regarded within a broad number of standards and product categories.  We cover areas of Energy, Radio, EMC, Safety Telecom, and Laser compliance in the consumer and commercial space.  We are passionate about safeguarding products and systems, by ensuring a high level of quality and efficiency to gain market access.  Headquartered in Norway, today we have more than 20 locations in 12 countries and are continuing to grow.

 

How would you describe your company’s culture? 

Nemko stays true to their core values by attracting and maintaining talent.  Our overall company culture is what makes us successful.  The way that Nemko conveys their passion is inspiring.  Everyone I work with in the company comes every single day with a sense of passion and wants to provide the best customer experience possible.  We aren’t the largest agency, but what makes us different is our culture. 

 

How does your company differentiate itself from your competitors?

The way that we differentiate ourselves is we are extremely customer focused and driven.  We have a high level of responsiveness and focus on what we do right and what we do well.  The projects we take on are intentional, so we are able to deliver and exceed the expectations of our customers. 

 

What are some things you are excited about for your company for 2022?

There are some things that I can’t share right now because they are still in the works, but I can say that Nemko is like the diamond in the rough.  We are under everyone’s radar and have been in this pattern the last couple of years to really change the dynamic of their people and broadening their scope and capabilities.  I can’t tell too much, but I will say that 2022 is going to be a great year for Nemko.

Nemko stands for and stands by as an agency that has a global reach with a local feel that truly strives to go above and beyond to make sure that we are meeting what the customer needs.  We don’t have a target audience – we work with all of them, be it smaller or larger companies.  There is no differentiator; we work at the same capacity and energy for all of our customers.
