Entrepreneurs, how will YOU be disruptive this summer?

Channel your quarantine energy into something productive and apply for the eighth RIoT Accelerator Program (RAP) cohort in Raleigh, NC. The 12-week program, running June 9th – August 26th, 2021, gives startups access to exceptional business and technology resources, action-oriented mentorship and a supportive professional network. The best part – RAP is free and industry agnostic, meaning this opportunity is open to a wide range of startups that utilize data and technology for long term success.

The quarantine era has brought hardships, but also opportunity. Now is the time for entrepreneurs to utilize innovative solutions for these new challenges. With Raleigh being a hub of people, ideas and resources, RAP is the perfect opportunity for startups to receive the resources they need to take their business to the next level. From 2014-2017, RIoT supported 40 companies who collectively raised over $275 million and created more than 400 jobs across NC. With several past RAPs in Raleigh, the area boasts a strong support infrastructure and is the ideal area for new technology focused startups.

Even throughout the pandemic, numerous RAP startups thrived by embracing dynamic market changes and establishing authentic connections with customers. ShyftAuto, a Greenville based startup, created a platform enabling car owners to schedule remote pickup and drop off car maintenance appointments, streamlining efficiency for both car dealerships and customers. Founder Marcus Aman joined the Spring 2020 cohort in Wilson, NC and throughout the program was able to launch the company’s services and establish relationships with 21 dealerships through RIoT. During RAP, ShyftAuto refined their concept, adapted to market changes and helped communities by minimizing contact and risk for customers.

BlueRecruit, a software platform that connects skilled blue collar workers with hiring companies, also completed RAP and now has over 10,000 users. The manual and technical labor segment of the economy has been severely impacted by the pandemic. BlueRecruit’s services offer an innovative way to continue connecting people with job opportunities. RAP helped CEO and Cofounder Rich Camacho utilize his past career experiences and connect them with his current passions while helping thousands of people in the process.

ShyftAuto, BlueRecruit, and numerous other RAP participants are building scalable companies and enhancing their products in spite of challenging time. RIoT is looking for more innovators and entrepreneurs with the same passion who are up for the challenge. As the U.S. begins to recover from the pandemic, now is the time to capitalize on your entrepreneurial passions. Apply to RAP and let RIoT help transform your startup into a thriving organization within the IoT industry. Deadline to apply is April 30th.
