ExitEvent, North Carolina’s source for news, information and tools related to up-and-coming tech metros in NC, recently profiled our Startup Pitch Night.
The annual event, held last week at James B. Hunt Library’s Duke Energy Hall, once again featured five local IoT startups who “pitched investors in hopes of earning the coveted RIoT Championship Belt,” wrote ExitEvent Contributor Kirsten Barber. Participants pitched to a rock star lineup of experienced judges, hoping to repeat the success of last year’s pitches (4 out of 5 of whom went on to earn additional funding).
The event also featured panel discussions on fundraising and investment opportunities.
