Industrial Internet of Things Business Essentials

RIoT will lead an educational workshop focused on how the manufacturing industry can leverage connected sensor devices to improve the bottom line. The workshop is appropriate to experienced companies and firms that are still in the exploratory stage of IoT.

The program will open by explaining what the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) is and different approaches to use the IIoT to improve efficiency, save cost, and make money. Case study examples will be presented by speakers to include:

Justin Rothwell – CEO of ProAxion – ProAxion sensors drive predictive analytics that allows equipment maintenance to be conducted just-in-time and reduction of unexpected machine failure.

Jason Massey – CEO of ndustrial – ndustrial monitors facility energy consumption and external sensor data to lower costs through optimized HVAC and other systems approaches.

Finbar Gallabher – Founder, Fraysen – Fraysen will discuss how simple sensor implementations can inform capital equipment investment decisions and identify inefficiencies in production.

This interactive session is limited to 100 participants to ensure high engagement and time for Q&A with the presenters.

All attending are welcome to remain in the afternoon for the Launch Place sponsored IdeaFest Danville start-up pitch competition. 20 early stage start-ups will compete for $10,000 in prize money. A beer/wine social will conclude the day, along with the IdeaFest awards ceremony.
