RIoT is excited to announce the launch of the nineteenth cohort of the RIoT Accelerator Program (RAP XIX), welcoming six startups to the twelve week program.
Selected from a highly competitive pool of applicants, the startups in this cohort represent a diverse range of industries, including biotech, blockchain technology, cybersecurity, engineering talent development, IT services, IoT, and medical technology. Each team brings a unique perspective and a passion for leveraging Data and IoT technologies to solve real-world challenges.
RIoT is excited to announce a dynamic hybrid format for this cohort, blending virtual and in-person engagements to maximize impact and accessibility for participating startups.
Throughout the program, workshops will be hosted both virtually and in-person, providing flexibility while maintaining meaningful interaction. For three dedicated weeks, startups will meet in person in three strategic locations across Virginia—Roanoke, Danville, and Alexandria. These in-person sessions will enable participants to connect directly with a diverse range of stakeholders, including industry leaders, investors, and community partners, while engaging in tailored activities designed to drive growth and collaboration.
By leveraging this hybrid approach, RIoT ensures that startups not only receive the resources and mentorship they need but also build vital relationships and gain exposure to different ecosystems across the state.

3D Orthobiologic Solutions (Herndon, VA) – 3D Orthobiologic Solutions develops advanced 3D-printed scaffolds for bone graft surgery and cancer research, enhancing medical innovation and patient outcomes.
EVAS (Reston, VA) – EVAS is a SaaS platform for e-commerce businesses to engage with customers through live and recorded shoppable content that gather valuable insights into preferences and behaviors and encourage customers to engage with live sales representatives, ultimately boosting conversion rates.
KLEAP (Raleigh, NC) – KLEAP specializes in affordable and accessible cybersecurity solutions tailored to protect small and medium-sized businesses.
Nasoni (Suffolk, VA) – Nasoni is redefining the functionality of home bathrooms by first converting traditional faucets into innovative fountain faucets and subsequently integrating IoT technology, thereby transforming them into “smart” devices that promote enhanced accessibility, improved hygiene, personal wellness, and seamless connectivity.
Open Studio Labs (Durham, NC) – Open Studio Labs provides structured SaaS training modules, through its pioneering Engineering Residency (ER) model, designed to educate developers on effectively contributing to open-source projects, fostering skill development and collaboration within the open-source community.
Wolfberry LLC (Fort Wayne, IN) – Wolfberry LLC specializes in utilizing advanced Distributed Ledger Technology to secure IoT devices against emerging threats, offering a robust, adaptive, and resilient infrastructure to ensure digital safety and reliability.
